🏢 Jerusalem Town Hall
Jerusalem Town's own town government keeps its local records: council or board meeting minutes, local ordinances and resolutions, local permits and licenses, and its own budget and contracts. Requests for those records go to the town clerk under New York's Freedom of Information Law (FOIL). In New York, city, town and village clerks commonly serve as the local registrar of vital statistics (birth and death records for events in that municipality), and town and city clerks issue marriage licenses, so ask the clerk's office first.
